3 Month Temp Human Resources Administrator

Location: CBD
Experience Level: Minimum 5 years in HR (3+ years in Industrial Relations)
Qualification: National HR Degree or equivalent

About the Role:

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional? We’re looking for a Human Resources Administrator to support and implement HR strategies, ensuring compliance with policies and labour legislation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to employee relations, recruitment, training, and HR operations in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Compliance & Industrial Relations

  • Ensure adherence to labour laws (LRA, EE Act, Skills Development Act, etc.).
  • Provide guidance on employment legislation and company policies.
  • Assist with disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and CCMA conciliations.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviews, and verifications.
  • Conduct onboarding and induction sessions for new employees.

Employee Wellness & Engagement

  • Monitor absenteeism and coordinate employee wellness programmes.
  • Support initiatives to enhance employee retention and satisfaction.

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and facilitate learning interventions.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with skills development plans.

? Performance & Talent Management

  • Support the implementation of performance management processes.
  • Assist in tracking employee growth and career progression.

HR Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain employee records on HR systems (e.g., SAGE VIP).
  • Process leave requests, payroll adjustments, and benefits administration.
  • Prepare HR reports and statistics for management.

What You Need to Succeed:

Strong knowledge of HR policies, recruitment practices, and industrial relations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Previous experience in the healthcare sector (advantageous).
Valid driver’s license and own transport (preferred).
