A leading company in the fintech consumer sector is seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Head of Treasury to join their team. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the organization's global treasury operations, ensuring financial resilience, optimizing liquidity, and supporting growth objectives.
Purpose of the Role:
The Group Head of Treasury will lead the development, execution, and management of treasury strategies across the business. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and operational expert, driving excellence in cash management, risk mitigation, funding, and investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement global treasury policies, strategies, and frameworks.

Manage liquidity and cash flow to ensure operational needs are met efficiently.

Oversee banking relationships and negotiate financial facilities to support business growth.

Lead funding strategies and capital structure optimization.

Monitor financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and credit risks, and establish appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

Support M&A activities from a treasury perspective, including due diligence and integration.

Ensure full compliance with regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements related to treasury activities.

Partner closely with the CFO, finance teams, and other business units to align treasury initiatives with overall business strategy.

Lead and develop a high-performing treasury team.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CTP, ACT, CFA) is preferred.

10+ years of progressive experience in treasury management, preferably within the fintech or financial services sector.

Proven experience in developing and executing treasury strategies across multiple jurisdictions.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

In-depth understanding of financial markets, banking products, cash management, risk management, and corporate finance.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
