Are you a technically skilled sales professional with a passion for industrial and hydraulic products? Join a global leader specializing in the design, manufacture, and marketing of high-efficiency hydraulic motors and drive components for mobile and industrial applications. They are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join their South African branch. This role is integral to enhancing sales performance through a combination of technical expertise and strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships by managing and interpreting customer needs.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, maximizing client potential in the designated regions.
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including quotes, product education, and training.
- Negotiate contracts, tender terms, and pricing to align with company and client requirements.
- Analyze costs, prepare sales reports, and meet regular sales targets.
- Coordinate sales projects and support marketing initiatives by attending trade shows, conferences, and events.
- Collaborate with global teams, including R&D, design, production, and senior management.
- Develop custom-made product solutions and support technical presentations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient sales processes and technical initiatives.
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Fluid Power, Hydraulics, and Hydrostatics is essential.
- Qualifications: Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related technical fields preferred.
- Experience: Proven track record with a minimum of 2–3 years in industrial and mobile hydraulics product sales.
- Skills: Strong technical, sales, and interpersonal skills, including communication, leadership, negotiation, and organizational capabilities.
- Character Traits: Goal-oriented, team player, self-driven, and passionate about technical sales.
- Travel: Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required.
