Experience and Qualifications:
- Accounting qualification, preferably with completed SAICA/SAIPA/CIMA articles.
- An Honors degree will be advantageous.
- 2 years of relevant experience will be advantageous.

Job Responsibilities: As a Financial Accountant in the Freight Industry, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparation of Annual Budgets: Crafting annual financial budgets for specific entities to ensure sound financial planning.
Annual Audit Preparation: Handling the annual audit process to maintain financial transparency and compliance.
Monthly Reporting: Regularly reporting on the financial status of selected entities, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
Expense Control: Implementing robust controls to monitor and manage expenses effectively, optimizing financial performance.
Variance Analysis: Preparing monthly variance reports to identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
Team Management: Overseeing administrative staff, ensuring efficient operations within your team.
Expense Allocation: Taking charge of expense allocation across various entities and departments within the organization.
Tax and Statutory Compliance: Ensuring full compliance with all tax and statutory requirements.
Currency Management: Managing various currency matters in Zambia and South Africa, contributing to financial stability.
Cash Flow Planning: Developing and executing strategies for effective cash flow planning and management.
