National Sales Manager
Location: South Africa
Are you passionate about leading high-performing sales teams and driving brand growth? We have an exciting opportunity for a National Sales Manager to join a dynamic and expanding retail group, representing an iconic global brand in the sports apparel and footwear industry.
About the Role:
As the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading a customer-centric, results-driven team. Your focus will be on building and optimising customer relationships across all levels, ensuring the achievement of sales and profit targets through effective planning, management, and execution.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for the Wholesale business across various key accounts and independent retailers.

Conduct regular market analysis to identify growth opportunities and proactively respond to market trends.

Collaborate closely with merchandising and trade marketing teams to ensure product lines are efficient, segmented, and well represented.

Build and maintain strategic account plans for major customers.

Strengthen customer relationships by providing growth strategies, planning support, and stock guidance.

Conduct regular store and competitor visits to maintain market awareness.

Represent the brand at national and international sales conferences and product meetings.

Ensure brand positioning aligns with global strategies and maximise marketing opportunities in the region.

Drive excellence in visual merchandising and campaign implementation nationally.
Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing.

Minimum of 8 years’ experience within a South African retail or similar sales environment.

Proficient in MS Office.

Ability to travel locally and internationally as required.

Valid driver’s license and own vehicle essential.

Strong customer-centric approach with flexibility and resilience.

Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver ambitious KPIs.

A solid understanding of brands, especially within the sports apparel and footwear industry.
