About the Role
A well-established organization is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales and Operations Controller to oversee sales, operational, and financial processes. This full-time hybrid role is based in Cape Town but will require occasional travel to Zambia.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage administrative duties, including filing and record-keeping.
• Analyze gross profits and gross profit percentages.
• Monitor and report customer back-orders.
• Prepare and process customer quotes, invoices, and supplier purchase orders using Sage One.
• Coordinate imports, exports, and freight logistics.
• Develop and manage inventory systems on Sage One, including stock management, replenishment, monthly stock takes, and reconciliations.
• Schedule deliveries to Zambia and ensure all proof of deliveries and customs documents are managed and uploaded to Google Drive.
• Handle job card costing and analysis.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
• Conduct supplier and sales reconciliations at month-end.
• Utilize Power BI for reporting and data analysis.
• Support supplier sourcing and maintain supplier back-order reports.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with a background in finance and accounting.
• Proven experience in operations management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial data and identifying trends.
• Skilled in budget management and forecasting.
• Knowledge of the mining industry is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
